More than half offacilities regularly or sometimes use pesticides, according to a recent surveyby HealthcarePestControl.com. The site was launched earlier this year by OrkinCommercial Services and the American Society of Healthcare EnvironmentalServices. “The responses to the self-assessment show an industry heading in theright direction, but we’re still seeing too much focus on treating the symptomsof pest problems rather than the root causes,” said Ron Harrison, Ph.D.,Orkin’s Director of Technical Services.
