The seniors housing and care industry remained robust in thelast quarter of 2007. As an example, the percentage of performing loans roseslightly to 99.5%, a new report by the National InvestmentCenter for the Senior Housing& Care Industry (NIC) says. Recent loan performance trouble common to manyother areas of the market in recent months has not made an impact on seniorshousing and care, according to Robert Kramer, president of NIC. He speculatesthat loan performance in the first half of 2008 will continue on a similar path.
