A federal training series on the assessment and coding of Section GG of the Minimum Data Set has been updated, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced Wednesday.
The online, on-demand courses focus on understanding prior functioning and prior device use; self-care items and mobility items. Each installment includes interactive exercises for users.
The training program is intended for skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and other post-acute care settings.
CMS advises providers email the PAC training mailbox for questions or more information on the program.
