I am sooooo over 2020. This is seriously the suckiest year ever. Now they want me to turn back the clock an hour this weekend? Heck no, I don’t want an extra hour of 2020. Are you kidding me?

As if this year doesn’t suck enough, I was in a car accident a few weeks ago. Like I need another reason to have pain, right? Seriously, like at a certain age you hurt for no reason. Like a young guy has a limp and you ask him what happened and he says, “I was bungee jumping out of a helicopter this weekend and pulled a ligament but it was totally worth it!” And he’s like, how’d you hurt your hip? And I’m like “I took a nap! Just took a nap …”

OK, I admit it, I’m grumpy, seriously grumpy. Dealing with COVID 24/7, all the regulations, all the inspections, the threat of penalties, short staffing, selling your soul for PPE, and now the gray revolution (elder protests to have physical contact), and no one is happy and everyone is working their butts off with no end in sight … Yeah, I don’t want an extra hour. Please!

So that’s it. I bought my pumpkin, cooked a turkey, put up my Christmas tree, and bought the champagne. 2020, I am soooooo over you!

Just keeping it real,
